Dagmar Dyck is a Tongan German textile artist and educator, first generation New Zealander.

Her creative works include working with Tongan Ngatu (Tapa).

In this track Dagmar describes the experience of being a working artist and the influence of heritage collections; seeing objects of culture, art and beauty up close and in the flesh rather than just as imagery in books.
