c) The king trusts in the Lord (7)

d) The king will win in the future by the power of the Lord (8-12)

e) God judges the king’s enemies through the king’s actions

f) The Lord is praised because his strength gives victories to the king (13)

3. Jesus is the ultimate king

a) He was granted ultimate victory, so trust him (1 John 5:1-5; 1 Corinthians 15:54-57; Acts 10:36-38)

b) He was blessed by God, so celebrate him (John 11:41-42; 17:1-5; Mark 1:9-11; 9:1-3; Romans 6:9)

c) He will come to judge, so hope in him (John 5:21-23, 30; Acts 17:31; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10)
