The raw honesty of the original compelled me to respond in a primal fashion. Upon repeated listenings, a percussive response crept up out of my bones. I used a contact mic gaffer-taped to the inside of my handmade frame drum, and played along with the original in real time. The drum was processed by my modular, which I couldn't tweak much as I was drumming live with both hands. Vishnu has many hands to do many things at once.
