First time trying out contact microphones in the field. Picked a weird day for it as it was sunny, then rainy, and windy ... seemingly changing every few minutes or so. The wind had been really whipping it up a few minutes before setting up to record when it promptly died down and the rain started. I'll be revisiting these wires supporting the electrical grid down by the dam again in hopes of capturing them when they're really vibrating.
