A diverse church, equipped to impact the local community and beyond. We Love Jesus | Love one another | Love Crawley.
Life Upside Down.'Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!” Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”

Danny talks through the disciples 3 encounters with Jesus in John 21 after his resurrection. How we build locked doors of distraction. How we fill our lives with noise, screens and activities. Danny shows how Jesus walked through locked doors to be with the disciples he loved and reveal himself to them. Jesus offers peace when we are fearful about the future, our barriers to protect ourselves don't stop Jesus from reaching us. Jesus invites us to believe and confront our doubts and he breaks through barriers of fear. Jesus comes to both free us from our sin and fears. Sin is often rebellion against God dressed up as preference.

, but God is saying through Isaiah we do not have to live in shame; it's been removed. We no longer need to live with the restrictions of fear. God addresses the things we're ashamed of from our youth. When God speaks of expansion, change and moving on our reflex can be fearful but we don't need to live like that in a new season.

This week Alex takes us to Malta in Acts 28 verses 1-11. Paul never intended to go to Malta but God used it for His purposes. Alex made some powerful points from this passage. ONE: Your plans might change, but God's purpose doesn't (and he'll use the detours for His good purpose). Where you are even if its NOT where you planned to be is where God can use you to be a blessing. Paul was a blessing on Malta. He went and healed Publius father.TWO: GOD placed you here (in this church, in this nation, in the situation you are facing into right now). Clinging to control is trying to trust ourselves instead of trusting God. We need to cling to God instead.
This week Ben Stevens our Youth pastor takes us through Acts 17: 16-27 with Paul in Athens - a city full of idol worship and an altar to "an unknown God". He explains this unknown God to them in a way they would understand, like Youth understand ice cream. Ben explained when we explain the truths of the Gospel - some want to hear more some will laugh, some will walk away.

This week Aaron closes out our "Soul Sickness" series looking at Anger. We now live in an angry world where anger is prevalent on social media with a war of words being commonplace. Aaron covered how anger can be positive fuel when we have self-control. Proverbs 29:11 "A shortsighted fool always loses his temple and displays his anger, but a wise man uses self-control and holds it back".Also we're open to the enemy's attack if we lack self-control with our anger.Proverbs 25:28 TPT "If you live without restraint and are unable to control your temper, you’re as helpless as a city with broken-down defenses, open to attack."
Sadly our society is moving towards the dilution of guilt. There's little ownership of wrongdoing anymore. Danny this week explains there is a toxicity in hiding our sin - we can't heal if we don't own our mistakes, the times we "miss the mark" and we don't mature as a result in our character or our faith. We look through David's Psalm 51 after he commited adultery with Bathsheba.
Joseph this week continues our series Soul Sickness and looks at ENVY, the poison of comparison. “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.”Proverbs 14:30 NIV

We look at Romans 3:21-25 together as part of our series running up to Easter called "The Art of Salvation".
Steve kicks off our new series for Easter called "The Art of Salvation" and this week Steve looks at SUBSTITUTION with a sermon entitled "Follow the Lamb"
Danny this week concludes our series in Ephesians—Foundations of Faith. We’ll look at Ephesians 6:1-4. Fatherless homes, rebellious kids - the crisis no one wants to talk about.'Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honour your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. 'Ephesians 6:1-4
Ephesians 6 - Understanding ourselves and our adversary, using the Full Armour of God. Justin takes us through Ephesians 6 and the key verse is verse 10 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armour of God."
This week Steve exhorts us to make the most of every opportunity to be effective for Jesus, he talks us through 1 Corinthians 16: 8-9 which speaks of Paul noticing the season he's in and the amazing door of opportunity standing wide open for him to minister, may we notice the doors of opportunity God has given each of us and make the most of them.
The War on Marriage: Why Biblical Roles Are Under Attack. This week Danny takes us through Ephesians 5 'Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.'Ephesians 5:22-33
This week Danny takes us into Ephesians 5. 1-3 with a call to live differently "Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. But sexual immorality and all [moral] impurity [indecent, offensive behavior] or greed must not even be hinted at among you, as is proper among saints [for as believers our way of life, whether in public or in private, reflects the validity of our faith]." Ephesians 5: 1-3 Amplified
This week Steve takes us back into Ephesians with our Foundations of Faith series looking at Ephesians 4:25-32 - Legalism, Lies & Anger.'Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. and do not give the devil a foothold. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.'
This Sunday, we welcomed John Ford as our guest preacher. Danny closes out our series on "Adjust Your Brightness" preaching from Daniel Chapter 3
Steve take us through Daniel 2 where Daniel (and all the wise men) were under pressure of death to explain the King's dream of a statue being torn down by a rock. Daniel explains to the King that God has given him the authority to rule as God is the ultimate authority above all kings and kingdoms. “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel 2:44Steve explains God's Kingdom will outlast and crush any other Kingdom just like the dream explained to King Nebuchadnezzar. We need to put out faith in Jesus as His kingdom will last forever and every kingdom here will pass.
This week Danny continues our new Series "Turn up Your Brightness" talking about walking in the power of God's Spirit and not being seduced by the spirit of Babylon.
Welcome to our new series for a new year - ADJUST YOUR BRIGHTNESS. Steve kicks off the new series preaching from Philippians.
This week Joseph takes us through Luke 2 with a message entitled "Timing is Everything" as we head towards Christmas
This week Joseph continues our series on Ephesians and looks at chapter 3 verses 3-6 - "The Greatest Mystery"'For this wonderful mystery, which I briefly described, was given to me by divine revelation, so that whenever you read it you will be able to understand my revelation and insight into the secret mystery of the Messiah. There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of this glorious and divine mystery until now. He kept it a secret until this generation. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit. Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers (outsiders), into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One!'Ephesians 3:3-6 TPT
This week Debbie Cox takes us into Ephesians 3 and looks at Paul's dangerous radical prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21. We looked at the dangerous prayers of Desmond Doss shown in the movie Hacksaw Ridge who saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun."By constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life" Ephesians 3:17 TPT
This week Danny takes us into Ephesians 2, and tackles a tough but important topic - total depravity and the effects of sin. "Sin hasn't spare a single part of us. It's seeped into everything, our thoughts, our feelings and wants. Every corner of our lives has been tainted. This goes deep right to the core of who we are". Danny covers the 3 enemies1. System and culture of the world2. Satan our accuser actively working to intimidate & bring fear3. The flesh - our desire to gratify our selfish human natureDanny also said most times "we don't think we need to be saved by God, we only think we need some help from God". Things actually are worse that we care to admit and we need saving.
Listen to Jim explain what New Ground Sunday is all about, as he shares about Marriage as a picture of Christ with his bride us the Church from Ephesians 5. Also prophetic words for Crawley Community Church are shared at the end.
This week Danny looks at Ephesians Chapter One verses 13 and 14. "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. The central point of Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus is what God did through the historic work of Jesus Christ, and continues to do through the person of the Holy Spirit through every believer in His church. Chapter One goes into the many Spiritual blessings we have in Christ.
Steve wraps up our series on Belonging looking at Acts 2: 42-47. The believers were: ONE- Devoted to the Apostle's teaching. TWO - Devoted to Fellowship (leaving individualism behind).THREE - Devoted to the Breaking of bread.FOUR - Devoted to Prayer.Steve makes the point its easy to grow a crowd, its more difficult to grow a new believer community where people belong to God, and each other and are serving, giving and growing together, everyone included and everyone playing their part. We can't battle and wrestle and hold onto Jesus's teaching without the Holy Spirit and without his church. We are designed to belong.
In part two of our series on Belonging, Danny takes us to Luke 12 -where Jesus was telling his disciples about the rich man's terrific crop and wanting to build bigger barns to store up the wealth for himself. The bigger barns were for his own glory and to satisfy his own greed, loving money and security more than God. Danny explains from James 4:1 that its our desires within us that most often lead us astray, we like to spend money on ourselves but Jesus made the point that, that very night the rich man's life was demanded from him, and he was a fool for getting his priorities wrong. Life is short, no-one knows when a "Black Swan" event will come and we have less time than we think to be generous with our lives.
Steve kicks off our new series called "Belonging" this week. He makes it super practical on how you can get involved with what God is doing and how you might be able to serve, give and grow.
Steve closes out the The Journey series with Baptisms of new believers and a very short sermon
Justin Fletcher talks about Jesus' second coming, which is absolutely part of the full Gospel message. He explains how we always need to be ready and prepared and live like he is coming back any minute or moment as no-one knows the time or hour of his return, but only that the bible is clear we need to be ready.Just as we would never be caught with a dead phone battery - in the parable of the 10 virgins - we can't be like the 5 virgins who ran out of oil, went out to replenish it last minute and were not ready.
Nathan Blackburn takes us through the importance of Community in our Christian Journey.
Debbie Fox takes us through part two of our series called The Journey. Debbie looks at John 4 with Jesus talking to the Samaritan woman at the well. She looks at three things in this passage: ONE: Jesus breaks down barriers of prejudice, TWO: Delighting in the encounter with Jesus THREE: God offers us eternal living water to sustain us.
Danny opens our new Series "The Journey" with Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has set eternity in the hearts of men". Danny asks if we're feeling like something is missing? What makes our life worth living? God has made everything beautiful and appropriate in it's time - Also Ecclesiastes quoted...but often God makes us wait (and we don't like waiting for stuff). Danny proves us to think through Matthew 4:4 where Jesus talks through "Man shall not live by bread alone" - what are we using to sustain us and give us a sense of purpose outside of God?

I pray also for those people who will believe in me because of my disciples' message. I pray that all of them will become united . You, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they also will be united in us. Then the world's people will believe that you sent me.
This Sunday we enjoyed having Biro unpack Luke 16, being a good manager and steward rather than being unfaithful. He challenged us to examine how we are managing our own lives, our skills and abilities, our finances, and our relationships. This passage challenge us to be faithful with how we steward God's resources.
Steve provokes us to grow in not only proclaiming the gospel but demonstrating it too continuing our 'Mind the Gap' preaching moments.
This week, proud Dad of four... Nathan Blackburn looks at part 4 of Multiply, "METHODS," and key verse Acts 9:31: "So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." He makes 3 big points. 1. BE BOLD (Step out and share Jesus)2. JOIN IN (Do life in community - you can't walk this alone)3. WALK CLOSE. (to the Spirit and Fear of God)He concludes with a powerful reminder from Zech 4:6, 'Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.' This verse underscores the crucial role of the Holy Spirit in our methods, reminding us to always seek His guidance and rely on His power.
Continuing our Multiply Series, Danny this week preaches on "The Mapping" from Acts 17:19 "Then they took him and brought him to a meeting at Mars Hill where they said to him "May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?"

Danny takes us into Week 2 - The Mission of the Church and what does it mean for us to be Missional. Danny takes us back to Genesis 12 vs 1-3, we walk through some church history together, examine the pitfalls of having an "attractional church" consumer mentality. A church that exists only for itself and its own enlargement ends up being a witness against the gospel. He unpacks what does "missional" mean for each of us and why this is a biblical approach vs. being an attractional church.
Steve and Caz both preach this week to close out the Mind The Gap series and use the analogy of D-Day to VE day to explain some kingdom truths using key scriptures from across the whole bible. Hang onto your seats this is one fast ride through scripture and really critical grounding to see the bigger picture.
For our EASTER SUNDAY Celebration Danny takes us onto the road to Emmaus with Jesus talking with two disciples except they have no idea he was Jesus and that he was risen from the dead, but they exclaim to each other (Luke 24;32) Weren't our hearts on fire within us while he was talking to us on the road? Jesus wants to journey with each of us and we need to open our hearts like the disciples did at Easter and say "Stay with us" Luke 24:29
Ken Davis takes us through our final session, looking at John 17 as a beautiful finale to our ABIDE series in John.
Steve and Caz kick off our new series called "MIND THE GAP" looking specifically at John 14: 9-14
This week Danny takes us deeper into the book of John to the famous passage of Jesus talking about how we need to "abide" in Him to be fruitful. Danny outlines some beautiful truths from the passage. 1. Even if you are fruitful, you will go through pruning 2. We can be satisfied & settle for average instead of expecting more fruit 3. You cannot build trust without stability. 4. You are not supposed to make yourself grow 5. The gospel must be preached to warn us. 6. Fruit is to glorify God not people.
This week Ken Davies takes us through John 14 as part two of our "Abide" series...a devotional journey through John 13-17.

Steve Alliston takes us through Mary's song of praise also known as The Magnificat, when Mary finds out she's pregnant with the son of God her soul was ecstatic and overflowed with praise to God. "Let it be as You want Lord" is Mary's attitude. Her love for God flows from the inside out. She was singing praise regardless of the personal reputational risk she faced as having fallen pregnant outside of marriage. Steve talks about how praise is able to change our hearts and open our hearts and allows us to become more hungry for the good things God has for us. We have much to learn from Mary. Key scriptures Luke 1:38 and Luke 1:46-55.
This Sunday we were delighted to host New Frontiers founding father Terry Virgo. Terry closes out our series on the Holy Spirit "The Giver and His Gifts".

Danny takes us through Ezekiel and how the Holy Spirit brings life and power to us in part 2 of this series
This week Steve kicks off our new Series on the Holy Spirit called the Giver and His Gifts. This sermon series is from Luke 11 verse 13 "Even though you are evil [that is, sinful by nature], you know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more will your Father who is in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!".We need to have a healthy biblical understanding that we are a spirit filled people on His mission.

This week Steve takes us through the 4th word in our church vision "IMPACT" and looks at both Acts 11 and Matthew 11.
This week Danny explains how, as a local church, we take seriously the duty that our people are fed properly from the word and "equipped" rather than entertained. Danny uses Ephesians 4:11 as his base text along with some helpful metaphors.
Steve explains our vision using 6 words. "A diverse church equipped to impact the local community and beyond"This week is part one and Steve covers what it means to be a "Diverse" church. Diverse in Race, Language, Geography, Nationality, Age, Gender, Experience and Socioeconomics. We look at Acts 13 together.
Dan challenges us this week to think about what we think about because our lives move in the direction of our strongest thoughts. We look at Philippians 4:8 this week and we are encouraged to fill our minds with beauty and truth, whatever is honourable, lovely, right, pure, good, kind, excellent and praiseworthy. We need to embrace biblical wisdom Dan preaches Proverbs 14:12 - there's a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death.
This week Caz Alliston takes us into Philippians 4:6-7 which deals squarely with worry. She encourages us to move from people who worry to people who pray.
With "How not to be an oaf" Stu Cox preaches with inimitable humour on gentleness following the Philippians 4:5 passage "Let gentleness be seen in every relationship for our Lord is ever near" (Passion Translation).
Stu talks about "not punching people with truth", "not speaking with haste" - Proverbs 29:20 being "gentle with our words" Proverbs 15:1 and having a mate you can tell you when you are being a "muppet".
Danny looks at Phil 4:4 as part of our series on METAMORPHOSIS. It is strange and unusual that a man in prison could tell a church to rejoice. God used Paul being in prison to advance the gospel and for good. Danny makes the point that under God's watchful care, "our lives are not a runaway car".
God is always working. In all our struggles God can advance His mission and use our lives to be a blessing.
This week Joseph takes us through Philippians 4:2-3 looking at the conflict in the church between Euodia and Syntyche, and how we can be of one mind and have unity.
This week Ken unpacks for us the biblical view of love. As a foundation, he does an amazing overview of Metamorphosis PAST: We have been transformed 2 Cor 5:17, PRESENT: We are being transformed Romans 12:2 FUTURE: We will be transformed Phil 3:21 He speaks into the modern paradox of how technology has made us more connected but often more lonely. Our need to be loved is a primary requirement for mental and emotional health. He questions the world's view on what's lovable, which is often shallow and about wealth and physical attractiveness - when we lose our physical attractiveness, are we then unlovable? He used Romans 5:7-8 to explain God says we are worthy of his love. And he talks about how we can learn to Agape love - unconditionally love others and how this love is transformational.
Danny, this week as part of the Metamorphosis series unpacks the truths in Philippians 3 verses 12-14 NIRV quoted below
"I have not yet received all these things. I have not yet reached my goal. Christ Jesus took hold of me so that I could reach that goal.
So I keep pushing myself forward to reach it. Brothers and sisters, I don’t consider that I have taken hold of it yet. But here is the one thing I do. I forget what is behind me. I push hard toward what is ahead of me.
I push myself forward toward the goal to win the prize. God has appointed me to win it. The heavenly prize is Christ Jesus himself."
Steve quickly recaps the Metamorphosis kick-off done at the Church Weekend away for those who weren't able to join us. Key Scriptures are Romans 12: 1-2 as well as Colossians 2:8, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Corinthians 3:18 and closing with 1 Peter 1:14 "Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness."
Danny talks us through Ephesians 6: 1-4 on the role of children in how they need to respect and obey their parents and the role of Fathers to not exasperate or provoke their children to the point of resentment but instead bring them up tenderly with loving kindness in the discipline and instruction in following Jesus and the word. We closed out with praying over our children together as families.
Danny shares on his recent trip to Portugal to support our Portuguese-speaking churches over there, and also we have a very short preach from Jim Partridge on 2 Corinthians 8:1-7. Jim leads the team at King's Church part of the New Ground group of churches.
Steve this Sunday preached from 2 Corinthians 8:1-9 for our Gift day where we look to accelerate the work of the Kingdom of God in our town, our nation and in our hearts as we look at the topic of generosity and sowing.
This week Ken explores Jesus our Priest in our Coronation series and why the new covenant is so much better than the old. So good in fact we may take it for granted and need to be aware of the cost that was paid for us to be close to a holy and perfect God.
This week Ken kicks off our new series, CORONATION, where we look at Jesus - the Prophet, Priest and King. "And they said to him, concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people."Luke 24:19
Danny outlines the internal mission of the church from Ephesians 4 and helps show us what a "Healthy Church" should look like with correctly laid foundations. Christ himself gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 1 Timothy 3:15 talks about the church of the living God, being the pillar and foundation of the truth. We need to, as His church defend the truth in the bible.
In the finale of our series called Dynasty, Steve looks at 2 Samuel 5:1-5 where it shows David waited 30 years before he finally became king. Steve outlines how 30 years of preparation helped him prepare:What Kingdom dreams are we growing and sowing into while we wait? Hebrews 6:11-12 We mustn't allow our hearts to grow dull or lose our enthusiasm for the things of God, rather, we should follow the example of those who fully received what God promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance. The fact that CCC is next to Spurgeon Close and Carey House is prophetic. As Carey preached we need to "expect great things from God, and attempt great things for God."
Danny preaches from Ephesians 4:11-15 explaining how Jesus gave some to be apostles (one who has a call to plant and oversee churches) within the five essential ministries of Prophets, Apostles, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. He outlines how we, as a local New Frontiers and New Ground church, are part of something way bigger than us, and we get to serve and play a part in what God is doing. He explains that a healthy church is not where the minority do everything but where everyone plays their God-given role and takes responsibility to identify and then use their gifting for God.
It's Easter Sunday at CCC. This week Ken shares the question that Jesus was asked by the man who had kept all the 10 commandments "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" (Luke 18:18-23). Ken explains this is a great question to ask at Easter, and we need to hear the answer and how the bible answers this big question. If you are new and haven't listened to our podcast before, this is an excellent one as Ken lays out truth behind the Easter story.
Danny continues our Dynasty series looking at David's encounter with Goliath. What's a Goliath? Everything or anything that makes you feel small, powerless, and Goliaths can be everywhere, maybe even inside your mind. Danny outlined things we can learn from David and be Giant Slayers. 1. Giant Slayers are nosey 2. Giant Slayers go from smaller to bigger challenges 3. Giant Slayers win with their own God-given weapons.
In the final week of our Dynasty Series, Steve looks at 1 Samuel 22 where David is on the run and hiding in a cave from King Saul. Steve explains that at some point all of us enter "the cave" - a place where things aren't going well and where we need to learn to depend on God to come to our rescue. Steve explains how the wait and trials are part of God's assignment, a place where we can be active rather than passive in our waiting, as it is where God forms faith & obedience in us.
1 Samuel 30 is the account of David fighting to get his family back from his enemies who had captured them. Danny shares how this story is just as relevant for us today and how we also need to fight for our families. David found strength in his God to fight for his family. We need to recognize that family is under attack. Our problem is that we can tolerate sin, rather than hate sin. We are not making war against sin as we should. Danny shares why it's so important to not be passive. It takes work to a) fight for your family b) pray for your family c) read the word with your family d) not give up on your marriage e) not tolerate sin in your own life.
This week Steve Alliston continues our Dynasty Series in 1 Samuel and looks at the incredible friendship between Jonathan and David. Jonathan strengthened David in God. Jonathan sacrificed for David giving up his relationship with his father Saul who for no other reason than jealousy wanted to kill David.
Steve Alliston's talks through the life of David and has themed this preach as "Et tu, Brute?" which may be translated literally as ""You too, Brutus?" or "Even you, Brutus?" In the play, Caesar utters these words and resigns himself to death when he sees that even his closest friend is among the conspirators. Steve talks through Saul throwing spears at David instead of supporting the man who saved them from Goliath.
This Sunday Danny continues in our Dynasty series and preaches on how God cannot fix whoever is first not broken. He looks at how King David commits adultery with Bathsheba 2 Samuel 11, and how he compounds his sin with a mega cover-up. How Nathan is sent by God to save David from his sin as David's heart had grown hard.Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me"
Steve Alliston continues in our Dynasty Series and looks at 1 Samuel 16 & 17 focusing on how we looking prophetically, seeing and releasing in Kingdom Families. "Saul said to David, "Go and the Lord be with you" 1 Samuel 16:34
Steve Alliston preaches from 2 Samuel 7 looking at how David's plans changed after an encounter with Nathan the prophet and what we can learn from this as we steward the prophetic to grow a Kingdom family.
Danny preaches on Absalom's Drama from 2 Samuel 18 in our new series entitled "DYNASTY" where we are looking at Studies in the life of David from 1 and 2 Samuel. The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept. As he went, he said: “O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you—O Absalom, my son, my son!
Danny closes out our Series of 23 days of Devotion with being Devoted to His Word. There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed & useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, and training us to live God’s way. Through the Word, we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (MSG)
This Sunday we had the pleasure of welcoming Phil Woolley from Rye Lane Chapel, Peckham, who will be continuing our 23 days of Devotion series looking at devotion in prayer. Know the "I AM"Exodus 3.13-15
Today Steve looks at what does Devotion in Worship look like? Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek:that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. David who wrote the PSALMS consistently made a choice to worship God. It was his default setting for every situation he faced. We need to capture David's heart for worshipping God.Worship is not about the quality of your singing and whether you are part of the "worship" team. Everyone worships Something or Someone. Steve gives us 10 things why we should worship God.
Steve Alliston explains what we're doing for the month of January starting Saturday the 7th and finishing Sunday the 29th. How to read the word of God, How to pray, How to fast, How to devote ourselves to Jesus without distraction, and hear what He's saying to us. Steve unpacks tools for us to take faith risks for God again, stepping out in courageous faith and how to flourish again in Him and how fasting helps break through and change our mindset and hearts. Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit".
Steve Alliston preaches from Matthew 2 then welcomes Aref a wise man from the East to come and share his testimony and how he ended up in Crawley.

Ken Davis this week preaches on "Suffering for doing good" from 1 Peter 3 and 4
Contraversially Ken teaches the truth that we're meant to share in Christ's suffering, and abandon our theology of comfort. 1. We share in Christ's suffering 2. We share in His death and resurrection 3. We share in His proclamation
Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting Biro and Patricia from Agape church in Brazil. Biro shares briefly (with Danny translating) for 10 mins on their church plant in Brazil, then we have Dave Holden share prophetically.
