Welcome to The Leading Man Podcast!  This is a bit of a prologue, since this session was recorded before I was 100% set on making this podcast a regular thing, and we also didn't call it The Leading Man at the time.  This was actually recorded with a friend of mine as a school project for a Theatre History class, where we were required to record a podcast about a subject pertaining to Pennsylvania theatre history, given that I go to school in PA.  We submitted a trimmed-down 5-minute version of this, but I put together a proper episode as well so that eventually I could put it out into the world! In this pre-episode, which we had decided to call "The Sparknotes Stage", we discuss two of the more famous plays in what is known as August Wilson's Pittsburgh Cycle: Fences and The Piano Lesson.  However, all of our knowledge is based on Sparknotes reviews instead of actually reading the plays, except Max has read Fences before.  Hope you enjoy!
