Jelly Roll was the talk of the weekend after taking the stage for his very first performance at Stagecoach, the world’s largest Country music festival. Kicking off the weekend with a high-energy set on Friday night set ahead of headliner, Eric Church, the 39-year-old further proved the big stage is exactly where he belongs.

His captivating performance was just the beginning of an epic weekend for the Nashville-native who told Audacy’s John and Tammy of KSON that he planned to stay all weekend and “be a fan,” which most artists don’t typically get to do. “I’m such a nerd, I’m stayin’ all weekend,” he said with a smile. “Most people hurry in and out and I’m like, ‘You’re crazy! I’m going to get drunk and be a fan!'”
