God told Moses, "no one shall see my face and live" while Paul tells Timothy that God "dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see". Yet God did appear to some in the OT theophanies (e.g. to Abraham, Joshua,Jacob,Isaiah). In resolving this dilemma we discover some important things about worship, about ourselves, and about the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
