This week we're interviewing Dan Minshew, a JavaScript developer in Denton who started learning Meteor about two years ago. He's since worked on several neat projects including IoT and Audio/Video applications.
Dan went from being a creative writer to a JavaScript hero, diving right into web development. And while being presented with an option to enroll in a code school, Dan chose to teach himself by reading developer docs and taking free courses online.
He now works as a full-time JavaScript (and other scripts) developer, while also leading a NodeSchool group and teaching various JavaScript classes in TechMill's workshop series, all while still playing gigs with his band.
