There is a small but vocal minority of parents challenging the public schools over curriculum, books on the library shelf, and teaching about gender, sex, and history. It is a vain attempt to spare their children the burden of particular knowledge, and it flies in the face of the true and thorough education kids need to compete and succeed in our world today.
