Joy Caroline Mills is back, recovered and better then ever! We met for a pop-up podcast at Duke's Indy this week for Joy's first honky tonk experience, and had a fun night with the owner/operator, Dustin Boyer and Davey Avenatti

We also happened upon one of the finest Nashville hill country blues acts on their first night on tour, The Kudzu Duo featuring Reed Turchi and Lemuel Hayes. Reed popped on to tell us a little about the group, North Mississippi blues culture, and studying with blues legend, RL Burnside's guitar player of 25 years.
