I was depressed, desperate and discouraged. This was the part of my life I call the "great debacle".

Selling off my commercial construction company I went to start a new business. I know I could make it work. I had a big bankroll from the sale of my construction and I went after a completely new industry - is was change to prove myself as a business genius.

I soon found out that I wasn't as clever as I thought. That what worked a few years ago doesn't work today. That all the marketing agencies, gurus and ad companies are clueless when it comes to helping small business.

It was "sink or swim" as I had put my family in financial jeopardy and if I didn't figure something out fast we would be selling our house and going on food stamps.
