Just because the thunder rolls doesn't mean the party has to end.

Finally finished something that had been hanging around needing a few hours work for years.

I originally composed it in Ableton Live for a "Produce This" competition on the dearly departed MetaPop. The chords and drums are chopped up samples from the pack Native Instruments sponsored as part of the competition. I added a pad and couple more layers of keys. I programmed the bass, including a chance for an accented note up an octave. I let it play rather than resample it, so whenever it goes up, it goes up. The bells are out of Pigments. The lead part is a NI Hybrid Keys patch I monkeyed with a little.

I created a music video using Hitfilm Express. I've refined my process and I feel like I've got that figured out now. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.
