The Guardian angel saw Mariam weeping and devastated. She's a young girl in college. Guardian Angel: "What's wrong with you?" Mariam: "I can't go on with this. Life's too tough for me." Guardian Angel: "Is it life or the bout in life?" Mariam: "What's the difference." Guardian Angel: "Let me read this poem to you" Mariam: "Ok!"

Poem In a bout with you life's obstacles My bones you break and count In a way I can't recount You fasten your chains Around my neck Suffocating my efforts Breathing/gasping for hope I yearn for home Like though I'm gone Both hands and feet of mine You bind to shame My effort and time You bring to grieve All night she watches As I groan in pains None to save me Nowhere to run In the mud of my facticity I'll keep on fighting Until I break free From the bondage of fear and failure And the dungeon of addiction and depression
