Tributes are being shared after the death of Earth, Wind & Fire drummer Fred White, who has passed away at the age of 67.

Entertainment reporter Luke Dennehy told 6PR Breakfast that the news comes after yesterday's loss of another disco legend Anita Pointer.

"It's very sad news, a massive band with hits like September and Let's Groove, I wasn't born in the 70s disco era but even I know those songs," Mr Dennehy said.
