David Hynes, a spokesman for Transperth responded to this story onĀ Perth Live.
"Some of the things are quite true, the route 229 has been removed as part of the airport line - because the best way to move a large amount of people quickly and efficiently is by rail.
"However it has been replaced by a number of services, the Airport Line itself obviously but also route 940 between Perth and Redcliffe Station, also route 290 and 291 between Redcliffe Station and Midland Station via Guildford and route 275 between Wycombe Station and Walton Bay via Kalamunda Road.
"So when you link those up, it will get you back up into the same area."
