A Perth Live listener contacted Oliver Peterson via Word on the Street to share the information of David Honey's potential breach of parliamentary office guidelines. 

The sundowner is a ticketed event at his electorate office in Cottesloe, inviting guests for drinks and canapes to 'find out more about our leader and his priorities in Western Australia.' 

The listener asked Oly whether this was appropriate as Club500 regularly does events for the Liberal party and donates to the cause. 

The parliamentary electorate office guidelines state that parliamentary electorate offices are only provided on the basis that "they are not used for purposes other than those related to the parliamentary or electoral duties of the member."

Further, "they are not to be used as an election campaign base or headquarters for activities associated with political parties such as brand meetings."
