The Opposition has called on the Premier to set a date to reopen Western Australia on or before March 5, based on the Chief Health Officer’s advice that 75 percent of WA’s population will be triple vaccinated by then. 

"The CHO has pointed out that we could see a problem with flu season peaking with Omicron and hospital admissions all at the same time. The question for the Premier is, if it's not the 5th of March, what is the date?" Opposition Leader, Mia Davis explained onPerth Live.

"I am very worried people who did the right thing, got boosted, triple vaxxed, gone out and followed all the rules will see their immunity waning right when we see Omicron peak in the state." 
Ms Davies said a reopening date would give West Australians a light at the end of the tunnel and provide certainty for businesses and families trying to plan for the future.
