Marc Richards, the Hereford FC Head Coach, maintains a lot of work still needs to be done to turn the Bulls into a side capable of challenging at the top of the table, despite a 5th straight home win this afternoon.

Hereford secured the three points with a comfortable 2-0 win over Chester, who failed to impose any authority on the game even though they arrived at Edgar Street in third position in the National League North table.

Richards insists the players are now reaping the rewards their efforts deserve, and believes genuine competition for places n the starting line-up is beginning to emerge.
