The experienced Hereford midfielder felt beating Oxford City was "perfect" preperation for the Bulls FA Cup tie at Fleetwood Town next Saturday.

A composed and confident Hereford side reacted excellently to an early setback and over the course of the match definitely created the most clear-cut chances.

Purdie thought his side "adapted really well" to the artificial surface and deserved to progress to the 1st Round proper of the FA Trophy.

All eyes are next on the FA Cup with Purdie delighted to see "the winning mentality" within the Bulls dressing room. With a glint in his eye he believes Hereford will perform well at Fleetwood next Saturday, so anything could happen!
