These are trying times. Times have always been trying. If we allow unity to rise, as we seek goodness truth and beauty, a grace filled people will overcome.
Reflecting on the word of Jesus, “unless you eat of my flesh and drink of my blood you do not have life within you” during these Pandemic days.
One thing rises above the rest statistics say in regards to keeping friends and family connected to the faith.
Sorry we haven’t added to the podcast in a while. Since we have been live streaming everything I have not been recording much lately. Here is a talk I gave on Dorothy Day last week.
These are strange days, but we trust the God will continually open our eyes and lead us into the light.
In my 47 years, I have never seen anything quite like this past week. I was blessed to be able to spend these days on a mission trip in Denver, CO with people on the streets and an organization called Christ in the City. This homily includes a few reflections from my time on mission and a few reflections on how now to walk in the midst of an uncertain future. For those of you who were unable to make it to Mass this weekend, for whatever reason, I hope this homily is beneficial.
