My guest is Ms. Vonnya Pettigrew, an author, and CEO of Root Branch Productions and Root Branch Film Academy.  She is an award-winning filmmaker, scriptwriter, and TV show producer. She is currently working within the inner city of Baltimore, Maryland. Vonnya is helping children learn how to be filmmakers at a young age so that they can begin to speak their truths as soon as possible.  The origin, growth, and success of her company are quite inspiring.
