Retell your favorite story from Us, In Progress and describe the social issue Lulu Delacre is trying to address. Where do you see stories like this happening in our world?
Define implicit bias and discuss how it shows up in two or more stories in Us, In Progress. Discuss where implicit bias happens in our community and what we should do about it.
Consider the social issues that have been discussed throughout Us, In Progress. Have any of them affected you personally? If so, choose on social issue and discuss your experience. Make connections back to the relevant story from Us, In Progress where the social issue is addressed.
