After all of the promises of God having been fulfilled to Abraham, he is given a huge challenge. Is he willing to give it all up even though God has said it will be how His purposes will come about? At the end of the story, the only thing that Abraham cares about is that God has provided. God has provided for us as He gives us His Son too.
