Before we come to the major section of Deuteronomy which is all about the giving of the Law and its instructions for living, Moses makes something very clear: it is the people's hearts that God wants to be in line with His&name He does not just want rule-followers, but people who are willing to be shaped by Him and transformed from the inside out. And He still does!
