"Under the Spotlight" Jackie Buie explores Mark’s gospel, where we see Jesus’ authority being called into question by the highest Jewish authority (the chief priests, teachers and elders.) Jesus refuses to answer their enquiry directly, but then responds in the form of a parable to confirm that God is in fact in authority, although humanly it may seem otherwise.
