David Warren looking at Mark 1:16-20 where the passage describes Simon, Andrew, James and John ‘called’ by Jesus to follow him, and their immediate response of leaving their fishing and following him. They seemed to trust Jesus and consider that there really was no choice but to respond to his call. We look at ‘calling’ as part of responding to Christ&name the analogy between searching for fish and fishing for people&name forsaking everything to be with Jesus, and what following Him really entails.
