Jesus was the ultimate teacher. He was not robotic at all. He loved people so much, that He worked to make sure He connected with them in a special way. Most of the times, He would spend time with people, and teach them through what we know as parables or stories. This was one of the ways He could help connect with people to get them to understand His message.

Matthew 5 is jam-packed with incredible truth and love. Jesus is teaching His disciples and encouraging them in a special way.

He tells them in Matthew 5: “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Andy Williamson takes the time to teach and encourage us on the light that Jesus gives, which is magnified through us. No matter where we’re at in our life’s journey, God is right there shining and bringing light to our world. The most amazing thing about what He does is using us to broadcast that light out.
