But what took place After those fateful words were spoken? The life we knew before was broken A new paradigm, embraced

One in which you were mine And I was yours And ever since, that love has shined Though at times, clouded with storms

To love is to give The Power of pain The option to shiv Through heart and through brain

Once it is said Life's not the same Tears will be shed Two hearts, aflame
