This ol' rave relic cares not for rhythmical rules and follows no trends. He relies on his audio acumen to decimate dance floors from dusk til' dawn; with one prime directive, to transform you in to a sweat soaked hot mess of rave gravy while you dance like no one is watching, and finally leaving you exhausted and enraptured wondering "what jus' happened".
Getting his start back in the after hour glory days of the East Coast rave scene, The Groove Antenna, (formally Jacksonstrut), has a love for music that is matched only by his passion for dancing. During a long musical revolution through many genres of electronic music he has been bringing the groove, swing, funk, soul and jack to dance floors from Nova Scotia to Quebec for the better part of two decades, closing out such clubs as Reflections, The Palace, La Sonar, Sub Rosa, Nitro, Oxygen and many others along side of some of the industries biggest names including: Inland Knights, Doc Martin, Fort Knox 5, Bobby C Sound TV, Snails, Rescue, DJ Mes, The Funk Hunters, A-Paul, Corduroy Mavericks, Jose Zaragoza, Iz & Diz, Dok Link, Scratch Bastid, Veev, and DJ Dan to name a few.
Jacksonstrut, ‘aka’ The Groove Antenna, combines high energy stage presence with seductive vocals, funky bass lines, driving rhythms, and pounding drums to create an intimate atmosphere all his own. Known for his epic sunrise sets at the Evolve Festival, and his funky filtered after hours sets, The Groove Antenna can often be found dancing harder behind the decks than most of the crowd. His love of music has been influenced over the years by artists such as The Greenskeepers, Moloko, Modjo, Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Heldon, Cassius, and DJ Dan, as well as by local artists including Dale Mannette, Tommy Knuckles and Rickey Reid.

Groove along and get lost on this six hour sax express. Feel your vibrations hit record highs as Jacksonstrut, showcases superlative track selection to rapturously build his groove through a subtle yet sensual, smooth yet chunky, marriage of deep, jazzy, soul, adorned with JUST the right of amount of disco, funk and jack, glued together with gaiety through a divine deluge of delectably discernible and driving mixes, each delivered with the entirety of his effort and every ounce of expertise he's gained from 16 years of doing his best to destroy any dance floor he came across.
If you enjoy this style of house music, it really does not get much better than this!
This is the audio from a sunrise set live streamed on Saturday morning, Sept. 19, 2020. I hadn't gotten around listening to the recording until yesterday, and while I generally play very well (as most anyone with 16 years experience would), I feel this is above and beyond all but maybe a dozen or so sets I've ever recorded.

Y'all the MVPs, and I am truly grateful to have gained at spot at your musical table so to speak, and rest assured I WILL continue pushing myself artistically and evolving my skills in efforts to deliver both you and I the very best underground house music I possibly can.
Prepare to go on an epic six hour journey with me as we delve into the deep, dirty, dreamy, and disco styles of house music. All cuts have been carefully chosen and masterfully mixed to generate a groove and vibe that draws you in and transports you through a 4/4 fantasy world which will delight your senses and take you to a higher level.
6 hours of unbelievably well served audio content. There are several mixes in this set that rival any mix I've ever done. Most of the mixes are straight gorgeous and showcase lots of creativity. The track selection and progression is among the finest I have ever recorded and there is JUST one mix in six straight hours that I wasn't super happy with as I should have let the mix go on for a bit longer but I cut the one track 4 bars earlier than the drop I was expecting, so minor but ya can't win 'em all...(or can you?? practice practice practice).
