CHRISTMAS IS HERE, 2017. WITH BISHOP DR. LAWRENCE MWAMBA , ELDER PASTOR TARINA MWAMBA & MOTHER IN-LAW MOM MILDRED. THE BIRTH OF JESUS: The Word had gone out from caesar Augustus: everyone must be counted for an official census; further more, everyone must return to his home own for this enrollment. So it was that joseph, a carpener of nazareth in Galilee, headed for he little town of Bethlehem with his betrothed, Mary. For Joseph was a descendant of the grea King David, whose home town was Bethlehem in Judea. As they moved along toward Bethlehem, Joseph must have pondered deeply on the strange and wonderful events of which he had become a part. Through a dream, and angel of the Lord had informed Joseph thatr his intended wife , Mary would bear a Son who had been conceived by the Holy Spirit. This remarkable child's name would be JESUS. The weary travelers arrived in Bethlehem only to find all inns filled with guests. On this very night, the time had arrived for the birth of Mary's child. Thus it happened that JESUS was born in a stable. Lovingly his parents wrapped the new born child in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger. Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 2: 1-20.
