Every multi-million dollar blockbuster movie out there has a twin, granted this twin is missing 6 teeth, is cross-eyed, has 9 or 12 fingers and can only communicate in a series of grunts and whistles, but for all in intents and purposes is a â??twinâ??. The Star Wars that we know and love? Yep, itâ??s short-bus twin is Starcrash, a 1978 Italian Sci-fi â??epicâ?? that stars Caroline Munro, Christopher Plummer and a young and heavily mascaraed David Hasselhoff. Weâ??re warning you, this is some terrible stuff, think Critters, but without all the social commentary and Faustian subtext. We claim no responsibility for anything that happens when you watch it, and thatâ??s the better of the two we watched. In the now, we decided to punish ourselves with the 2009 Transformers rip-off, Transmorphers. This direct to DVD assault on logic and senses stars (very loosely using that word.)
