For this week's episode of Runners Anonymous I sat down with two of November Project (NP) New Orleans Co-leaders, Joseph Morin and Tonia Salas. Throughout the episode we talked about how they found out about November Project and their first experiences with attending the group workouts. We also talked about they are handling the challenge of leading virtual group workouts during this COVID-19 Pandemic. One of the things I loved that came out of this episode is the fact that both Joseph and Tonia felt really intimidated to go to their first November Project workout because of who they thought the type of athlete that attended the workouts. They quickly learned that NP attracted athletes of all ages and abilities and the culture of support and inclusion kept them going out to workouts and eventually join the ranks of NP co-leaders. Enjoy the episode!
