In our educational system, the way we have it set up now, students are given tests to measure where they’re at. Without the test, it’s not so easy to gauge progress. Everyone comes into the world as a baby but we mature - some faster than others!. The same is true spiritually. And too many in the Church have not matured. As you know, many religions around the world have traditions and rituals. According to the apostle Paul, in his letter to the Romans, these traditions have a tendency to lure people into a false sense of security concerning their salvation. In his letter to the Romans, Paul was adamant about our position in Christ. We are saved by grace and grace alone. He declared that our status here on earth - social or otherwise - has absolutely no bearing on our position in heaven.
