Russell in 2003 would often fill in for Station Manager Angela Keaton at KOOP 91.7 FM Community Radio here in Austin.  Actually I used to host the Thursday  edition of the KOOP Evening News at 5:30pm and then Angela would let me fill in for her on her show The Liberated Space at 6:30pm.

This particular show had the NORML girl on the show with Ron Anderson a loyal advertiser of The Austin Para Times & owner of FLASHBACK a cool thrift store on the corner of Oltorf and South Lamar. This week i pulled some weird News Stories and Sam performed live in the studio with his guitar. While this was not a WEIRD RADIO episode it certainly was the beginning of what would later be Weird Radio only this is before in 2003. 

We return all of us a Half Hour later and torture Austin listeners for another half hour on The Liberated Space. That show is up next.
