Recordings from friends of Verdant Recordings inspired by colour and light.

Forging new friendships and new experiences is one of the principle pleasures of my passion for underground music. Around 2 years ago, i was astonished to be contacted by Nesa, inviting me to contribute a mix for Deep House Tehran (DHT) an online magazine that she lovingly curates. The request opened my ears and closed mind to a community and corner of dance culture i had neither known or expected to exist outside of my preconceptions of electronic music. A salutary lesson learned and a wonderful opportunity to expand my horizons.

I gained an appreciation of the Tehran scene and of Nesa's own brilliant music which forms half of the next Verdant Recordings release 'Limbic Resonance', a split shared with Alison Marks.

A track from that is heard last in this mix from Nesa completing a poetic musical circle. The EP is available in the coming weeks.
