The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday to uphold the Trump administration’s ban on travel from certain countries, some of which have Muslim-majority populations. Last year, SCOTUS upheld a third version of the travel ban with modifications. Tuesday’s 5-4 ruling included a dissent from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who argued that President Donald Trump’s animosity toward Muslims means the ban violates the First Amendment.
