The Supreme Court narrowly decided that a Christian baker in Colorado had his First Amendment rights violated by an appeals court over his decision not to make a cake for a same-sex wedding. While advocates for religious freedom and for gay rights had both hoped the case would decide the gay wedding cake issue, the SCOTUS ruling seems to essentially apply only to this very specific case and this very specific baker. Sara and Jason catch you up on this story, and Jason shares his unpopular opinion that everyone should have the right to “discriminate,” AKA decide who they do business with. If people are bigots, the free market will take care of them, he says.
