In 2010, four former band members of Underbelly and Scenery got together to work on a fun side project they dubbed ‘Chocolate Milkshake Reservoir’. With the drummer and bassist leaving after two years to pursue other musical interests, the remaining members went back to the drawing board, recruiting new musicians, scrapping the old material, and shortening their name to simply ‘CMR’.

Since then, CMR has been working hard, writing catchy new songs and perfecting their live performance to wow audiences with their unique musical brand inspired by the likes of Muse, Taking Back Sunday and Billy Talent.

Their first single, The Lookout, perfectly encapsulates CMR’s upbeat, foot-tapping sound with a melodic, sing-along pop-rock chorus and heavier bridge, complemented by electronic samples and entertaining lyrics about a zombie apocalypse.

The Lookout is part of CMR’s debut EP, which is currently available on iTunes and Google Play. The band's second EP is due for release early 2017.
