This episode marks the first episode of series 2, where Sarah gives us a book review of 'The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks', where we discuss the source of HeLa cells that have been used in so many research projects leading to the production of vaccines such as the HPV vaccine as well as the ethical concerns to the origins of such cells! Sonia discusses the theory of tertiary vaccine doses and we interview Harpreet Shinhmar, a PhD student at UCL investigating Red light therapy in the context of ophthalmology.
