There is a concern that our educational systems are outdated and failing to promote the necessary skills that will prepare our children for the future. There is an urgent and growing national conversation about the limitations of traditional school models—particularly high schools—in the context of new demands for student achievement.

In the context of job disruption, demand for new skills and increased socioeconomic polarization, primary and secondary school systems have a critical role to play in preparing the students and workforces of the future. Education models must adapt to equip children with the skills to create a more inclusive, cohesive, and productive world.
