Techie Senior Citizens Philippines is an online support group for senior citizens and/or retirees, formed in February of 2018 after a free seminar on Internet Usage for Senior Citizens and Retirees.
The founder of Techie Seniors decided to conduct webinars through Facebook Live after the imposition of quarantine measures due to the pandemic. The webinars have been conducted on a mostly-regular basis since July, spawning the idea of Techie Seniors Thursdays. Each podcast episode contains the webinar in audio-only format.
