We chat with one of our regular contributors  Hans Edquist, a songwriter, music producer and former  DJ with an intriguing story.

We’ll hear about Hans’ journey from his prolific Myspace hosted mashups in the late 2000’s, to a shooting star in the club scene in Toronto and internationally, under the name Dj Barletta.

And then, a surreal, bizarre live show experience held under suspicious circumstances, his subsequent retreat from  burgeoning fame as a Dj and, from making music at all, to an eventual re-emergence that began with just an acoustic guitar and a laptop in a basement, which led to experimental and genre-blending releases under the new moniker Beverley,

And, we’ll learn about his  latest  project created alongside  various collaborators, a series of Beverley EP’s and singles, devised within the backdrop of recent tumultuous global events, an artistic endeavour over 2 years in the making.
