This is the fourth instalment of our mini-series which follows the challenges faced by Shashi the wild tiger as he tries to establish himself as an alpha male tiger. Every day in the wild, young male tigers must fight for everything they have and more if they want to survive in their natal home. We are following Shashi as he grows and encounters some of these challenges.
Background
Shashi is a 4 year old male tiger in Bandhavgarh National Park; brought to the public's attention in the BBC Earth Documentary Tiger Dynasties when he was just a cub. Now, like all young male tigers, Shashi must find his way in the world. “Shashi - Tiger Encounters” is a mini-series of 5 episodes which follows on from "A day in the life of Shashi the Tiger” produced especially for Global Tiger Day - 29 July 2019 by Tigers4Ever Ambassador Pietro P J Danby.
