Luke records the resurrection story in one day: the empty tomb, the road to Emmaus, and the room in Jerusalem. In each story, he opens the minds and eyes of his followers to understand what has happened, because they could not understand on their own. In the same way Jesus alone can open our minds to faith, something that is impossible to do on our own.
