We often describe our lives in hours, days, and years...Chronos time. But God operates on Kairos time which doesn't keep track of length of time but rather focuses on the opportune time. Our churches often fight against time, wanting to grow rapidly to keep up, and yet this doesn't match God's slow, patient way of working in the world.
