Today on the Eye on NY podcast:  Looking ahead to the primary election Thursday, Sept. 13. There are three statewide Democratic primaries on the ballot next week.  The headliner is the Democratic gubernatorial primary. Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is seeking a third term, will face Cynthia Nixon, an actress and longtime activist.  In the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor, Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul is up against New York City Councilman Jumaane Williams.  Finally, the four-way primary for attorney general. The candidates are: New York City Public Advocate Letitia James, Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, anti-corruption expert and law professor Zephyr Teachout and attorney Leecia Eve.
