This morning we’re going to focus on a very popular secular quote that is constantly attributed to the Bible that it’s simply not there.

• It’s a quote that does more harm than good.
• It’s a quote that encourages people lead themselves through whatever life gives them.
• It’s a quote that many people rely on in our times of trouble and tribulation,

But as Christians… We should know better.

It’s a quote that the world uses to try and remind us that:

• We are strong
• That we are empowered
• That we are unstoppable
• That Nothing is going to get in our way

There’re many amazing things the Bible does say… but one of the many that our culture thrives upon that the Bible absolutely does not say is:

“God won’t give you more than you can handle.”
