We see more than a half a dozen times in the first few chapters in Acts that the early church went to prayer

• regularly,
• fervently,

Not only was prayer and important part of the life of the early church… It was a direct command of Jesus.

It’s a literally talking to God. It’s holding a conversation with the

• Lord of heaven and earth,
• the creator of all things,
• the Alpha and the Omega,
• the beginning in the end…
• The one who can move mountains.
