The word Christian is only in the New Testament three times. The word disciple, however, shows up in the New Testament 269 times. Clearly, the goal is to be more than just a “Christian;” the goal is to be a disciple. But what does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? How do you become a disciple?
